The mission is to provide trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other combat-related disabilities.
Gearing Up works with women transitioning from incarceration, drug/alcohol addiction, or abuse, and provides them with the skills, equipment, and guidance to safely ride a bicycle for exercise, transportation, and personal growth.
